Career
David has a degree in jurisprudence from Oxford University and the post-graduate degree of Bachelor of Civil Law also from Oxford.
David is a City-trained solicitor and former barrister. He joined Heald in July 1999 to work in the Company Commercial department. He advises clients on company acquisitions and disposals, sales and purchases of businesses, joint ventures and corporate work generally. David drafts trading terms and conditions and has lectured locally on directors' duties, e-commerce and data protection issues.
David is a member of the Institute of Directors and the Chamber of Commerce legal and financial network committee.

Outside activities
David is a keen rock climber and mountaineer amd has extensive climbing experience in the UK and Europe. David is a convert to mountain biking and cycling and is a regular participant and team leader in the Heald Cycle Challenge.
