Heads of Terms
Heads of Terms are not legally binding but they can provide a useful framework for a deal. We would always advise that we are involved before Heads of Terms are formally agreed. Experience has taught us that tenants and purchasers often need help at this stage. Our involvement in the detail of these negotiations can often save time and money later on. It is important that Heads of Terms incorporate the major terms. If they do not, and you try to change the deal at a later stage, your bargaining position may be compromised.
