Career
Satpaul joined Heald in September 2011 after acting as General Counsel for a property company. He has previously worked at Denton Wilde Sapte and was a partner at Shoosmiths specialising in providing commercial real estate advice to property occupiers and investors, with a particular emphasis and focus on the retail and leisure sectors. Satpaul has considerable experience in large scale acquisition, disposal and management programmes for international and national occupiers and also investors. He has a broad and detailed range of experience in all aspects of non-contentious commercial property, landlord and tenant and portfolio management work. He has been involved in delivering full service fast track roll-out programmes and full service real estate advice to retailers, other property occupiers, international investors and property institutions.
Latterly he has acted on the acquisition of a substantial property portfolio consisting of in excess of 135 leasehold properties from administrators; as well as acting for administrators on the disposal of a complicated 117 mixed leasehold and freehold property portfolio.
