Uruguay joins the Hague Convention
On Thursday 9 February 2012, Uruguay became the 103rd country to Contract to the Hague Convention of 5 October 1961. The consequence of this act is that from the 14th October 2012 documents will no longer need to be stamped by the Uruguayan Embassy after having an apostille from the Foreign and Commonwealth office.
This will speed up the process of legalising your documents as well as reducing the costs associated with the process.
