Bank adds lawyer to advice panel
CLYDESDALE Bank has added Milton Keynes based law firm Heald Solicitors to its panel of legal advisers.
The bank set up its own independent panel because it was reluctant to risk the potential conflict of interest posed in substantial transactions by engaging the borrower's law firm, a spokesman said.
Heald has been working with Clydesdale for the past 18 months.
Heald senior partner Martin Banham-Hall said: "By getting to know each other in this way, human efficiency dramatically increases, accelerating deals' completion as we become a well oiled operation".
"Being accepted has brought a sense of pride, know that we are working with some of the most thorough bank managers in the area"
