Conveyancing Secretary
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious legal secretary or paralegal to join a very busy residential conveyancing department.
Job Summary
Digital dictation, diary management, administrative support, dealing with queries raised by clients, solicitors, lenders and estate agents, whether face to face, by telephone or by email, preparing quotes, drafting completion statements, preparing reports on title, reports on mortgage and search reports, raising enquiries and replying to requisitions, opening, closing files, including, AML checks, keeping files updated with correspondence and ensuring compliance with SRA regulations; lender requirements and firm procedures, using Land Registry portal, generating Stamp Duty Land Tax calculations and submitting applications, drafting forms, such as, AP1s and TP1s, preparing and submitting bills, receipts and payments.
