— Commercial Lawyer
Would you like to join a cheerful, friendly and flexible commercial law team?
We are looking for a solicitor to work in our busy company and commercial department. This role would suit a 1 year to 5 year PQE solicitor but the right NQ or more senior lawyer would be considered.
We act for owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs, foreign subsidiaries based in this area and local institutions.
Your role would include the following
1 Company acquisitions and disposals to include drafting share purchase agreements and all ancillary documentation associated with share purchases and project management of the transaction;
2 The purchase and sale of business of all types including drafting asset purchase agreements and all ancillary documentation;
3 Conducting private management buyouts both for the management teams and the existing shareholders;
4 Shareholder agreements for both local entrepreneurs and foreign companies investing in UK companies.
5 Drafting and reviewing investment agreements for private investors, equity houses and foreign investors;
6 Commercial trading and business terms and conditions of all types.
A good knowledge of data protection and intellectual property would be an asset. The candidate will have a track record of networking in Milton Keynes and will be willing to contribute to the firm’s seminar programme.
Above all the solicitor will have excellent client care skills and a business attitude in tune with the firm’s commercial clientele. Responsiveness to client demands and the drive to meet client expectations are a pre-condition for this role.

We are based in MK1 (Close to Ikea) which has great access to the A5 and other main roads and easily commutable from Milton Keynes and surrounding towns and Villages as well as Aylesbury, Northampton, Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard and Bedford (Although we do have staff members who live much further away)
