Kevin WindoManaging Director
Kevin is Heald Solicitor’s managing partner. He is very passionate about maintaining strong and positive relationships with clients and constantly works to ensure the firm exceeds client expectations.
Kevin was a software engineer for many years after university before moving into senior management. He managed engineering, sales and was the managing director of a UK division of an international engineering company responsible for a turnover of £30m.
Whilst Kevin has a hand in all aspects of the firm, he has a particular interest in working with Heald’s technology and engineering clients. Kevin’s background in IT and Engineering has proved instrumental when supporting clients with contracts that require specific technical knowledge for Intellectual Property protection and contractual infringements that need dispute resolution.
Also, if clients have particular technical issues that are difficult to convey to non-technical people having an engineer in meetings often speeds things along. Clients feel more comfortable and also the nub of the issue is often identified so solutions are found more efficiently.

Kevin’s Qualifications
- Kevin has a BSC in Electrical Engineering. he is regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) but is not a solicitor.
It’s not all about work
Kevin is a keen cyclist and also scuba dives. His interest in engineering means he also manufactures model engines in his machine shop in his spare time.
