Jeans for Genes Day at Heald Solicitors

The Heald Solicitors team are taking part in Jeans for Genes this week, the campaign that raises awareness of genetic disorders and raises money to fund projects that make a tangible difference to the lives of those affected.

The staff of Heald solicitors will swap their business attire for jeans when in the office in exchange for a donation to the charity. Kevin Windo, Heald Managing Partner said

“The pandemic and subsequent lockdowns scuppered a lot of charity activities and we are so pleased to get back to doing some fundraising for this great cause. We’re even encouraging our staff to go ‘double denim’ to increase the amount we raise – every penny counts.”

It is estimated that one in 25 children is affected by a genetic disorder with 30,000 babies and children being newly diagnosed in the UK each year.
