Residential Solicitor – Full-Time, Permanent

Chandler Ray Solicitors are expanding our Residential Conveyancing team in Buckingham and are looking for an experienced and driven Residential Solicitor to join us on a full-time basis. If you are a qualified solicitor regulated by the SRA, or by CILEX with extensive experience in managing residential property transactions and leading a team, we want to hear from you!

Job Summary

We are looking for a Residential Solicitor who is highly skilled in all aspects of residential property law and ideally experienced in a paperless, digital environment. You will be responsible for managing a caseload of residential transactions, including freehold, leasehold, and remortgages, while also providing leadership to a growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent client service and a strong track record in managing a high-volume caseload.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to post-completion.
Lead, support, and develop a team of fee earners/paralegals in a paperless environment.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and SRA regulations.
Maintain strong client relationships and provide high-quality legal advice.
Collaborate with the Residential team in Milton Keynes and other departments to client satisfaction.

Candidate Attributes

Qualified Solicitor, regulated by the SRA, or by CILEX.
Significant experience in residential conveyancing, including managing a caseload of varying complexity.
Proven experience in team management and development.
Proficiency in using case management software in a digital environment.
Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills.
