Bucks County Show 2025: Celebrating Farming, Community and Legal Support for the Countryside

Every year, the Bucks County Show brings our community together, celebrating the very best of British agriculture and farming.

For Heald Solicitors team, it was a real privilege to be part of such a vibrant event. We enjoyed meeting farmers, landowners and families, hearing their stories, and sharing how we can help with the challenges they face.

From livestock competitions and horse events to local food, crafts and countryside demonstrations, the show was a true celebration of everything that makes the rural community so special. Visitors had the chance to see more than 200 trade stands, enjoy a bustling Food Hall filled with regional produce, and meet the people who work hard every day to support the future of British farming.

But beneath the fun, there were real-life concerns that every farming family faces — especially when it comes to planning for the next generation.

From April 2026, changes to Agricultural Property Relief will make it more difficult for farming families to pass on land without incurring a tax burden. Full relief will only apply up to a certain property value with anything above that receiving less protection. This could mean some farmers will be forced to sell land to pay Inheritance Tax.
