Kirsti Edmead – New Head of Private Client Department

We are pleased to announce that Kirsti Edmead has joined Heald Solicitors as Head of our Private Client Department.

Kirsti is an experienced Private Client Solicitor with a strong reputation for providing clear, practical advice with compassion and empathy. She works closely with individuals and families at what are often difficult or sensitive times, taking the time to understand their circumstances and offering thoughtful guidance tailored to their needs.

Kirsti has extensive experience advising older and vulnerable clients on wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and estate planning, as well as supporting business owners whose affairs are often more complex and require commercial insight. She also regularly advises executors and trustees on probate applications, Inheritance Tax matters, deeds of variation, and trust administration.

Her approach is holistic and collaborative. Kirsti works with a trusted network of professionals, including specialists in capacity assessments and taxation, to ensure her clients and their families receive comprehensive, joined-up advice.

Kirsti is a qualified Solicitor, a STEP member, and a member of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers. She also holds a Master’s in Business Administration and speaks Spanish.

Outside of work, Kirsti is a Trustee of Service Six, a children’s charity supporting families across Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes, and enjoys music, choirs, concerts and musical theatre.

Kirsti will be based in both our Milton Keynes and Buckingham offices.
